General The Company’s main area of interest has been in the exploration and development of gold properties, with a primary focus on exploring for and developing gold properties in the United Republic of Tanzania (“Tanzania”). Tanzania remains the focus of the Company’s exploration and development activities. The Company’s primary asset is its interest in the Buckreef Gold Project, a joint venture that is 55% owned by one of the Company’s subsidiaries (TRX Gold Tanzania Limited) and 45% is owned by the State Mining Corporation (“STAMICO”), a Governmental agency of Tanzania. 5 TRX Gold is a high margin and growing gold company advancing the Buckreef Gold Project in Tanzania. Buckreef Gold includes an established open pit operation and 2,000 tonnes per day process plant with upside potential demonstrated in the May 2025 PEA.
