What 51Talk Online Education Group does
A.History and Development of the Company 51Talk Online Education Group began to provide English education services in July 2011, initially in mainland China. In order to facilitate international capital raising of our company, we incorporated China Online Education Group, or 51Talk, to become our offshore holding company under the laws of the Cayman Islands in November 2012. In October 2014, 51Talk English International Limited, or COE HK Co, was incorporated with limited liability in Hong Kong. In the Philippines, we incorporated two limited liability companies: China Online Innovations Inc., or Philippines Co II, and On Demand English Innovations Inc., or Philippines Co III, which were incorporated in October 2014 and January 2016, respectively.
