A. History and Development of the Company In April 2016, Hexindai Inc. was incorporated in Cayman Islands as a holding company. We provided online microlending business and P2P marketplace business from 2017 to 2019. As part of our major business restructuring and disposition of our P2P marketplace business in and around December 2020, which is described in greater detail below, we changed our name from Hexindai Inc. to Xiaobai Maimai Inc. to reflect our business that was built upon our social e-commerce platform. On December 3, 2021, we changed our name from Xiaobai Maimai Inc. to Akso Health Group in recognition of our focus on our new business development in the health sector.
